the 2006 Bogota Bucs are High School State Champs

The town is honoring the Bogota Bucs Football team on Saturday, December 16th, 2006 with a parade for winning the North 1 Group 1 State Football title. The parade is scheduled to begin at 11am. The route the parade will go is from the High School, down Main St. to Larch Ave. The boys will be honored at Town Hall and the proceed to the High school football field.

Bogota Bucs High School football State Champs

The Bogota Bucs High School football team under the direction of Head Coach Dan Sabella have "Finished what they started" and went undefeated, a perfect 12-0, winning the 2006 North 1, Group 1 title game by dominating Mountain Lakes 28-0. This was Bogota's first championship. It lost four previous title games since sharing the 1957 crown with Lyndhurst.
