The Bogota First Aid squad is an all volunteer
squad located in Bergen county New Jersey. The squad was founded in 1947 and has
been in continuous service since. We are municipally funded (that means taxes)
although each member receives no compensation for his or
her services.
Each member of the squad is dedicated to
serving our community with the highest level of emergency care that we can
provide. To accomplish this each member is required to take an initial training
of 120
hours and refresher training of 16 hours each year while serving the community.
All of this training is volunteer.
What we provide?
We provide emergency medical services to all residents of Bogota, 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. This service is provided free of charge.
In addition, emergency medical services is also provided, free of charge, to all
persons requiring aid that may be passing through our community. From time to
time we also provide mutual aid support to our surrounding communities.

Venture Crew #92 (Bogota First Aid and Rescue Association)
A division of the Boy Scouts of America for boys and girls between the ages of
14-20 years of age. Our mission is to organize a youth group, sponsored by the
Bogota First Aid Squad and the Bogota Rescue Squad, which will give the members
an opportunity to help the community by learning Leadership, First Aid, CPR, and
Heavy Rescue techniques. They will have opportunities to use this knowledge
during events like town Parades, Camping and Hiking trips, Ride-Alongs with the
First Aid Squad, Trips to Great Adventure and Local Community Events.
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 8pm, at the Bogota
First Aid and Rescue Squad Building on Main Street in Bogota. If you are
interested in becoming a member or an adult leader, contact:
Jodi Kellar at 201-342-1244.
