The Borough of
Bogota and its Library Board of Trustees are pleased to
announce that
Betty Wiemer is one of two Library Trustees in the State of
New Jersey to be chosen as a recipient of the 2009 Highlands
Regional Library Cooperative’s (HRLC) Trustee Award. This
award is bestowed “in recognition of an individual library
board trustee who has demonstrated outstanding achievement
in the areas of library advocacy, the value of libraries,
who has created visibility for the library, or has fostered
community support of the library”. Betty was nominated by
Robert White, Bergen County Cooperative Library System
Director, for the award. The award will be presented
Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Annual Membership Meeting of
the HRLC at the Parsippany Public Library. I am sure you
join the Mayor and Council along with the Library Trustees
in congratulating Betty on her fine work with the Library
and her much desired award.
