BOGOTA POLICE OFFICERS COMPLETE
POLICE UNITY TOUR

On May 9th through May 12th Sergeant John Burke and Patrolman Jerome Fowler
participated in the Police Unity Tour in memory of those Police Officers who have
died in the line of duty.  The Tour consisted of cycling from Jersey City, New Jersey
to the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial in Washington D.C. over the span
of 4 days with approximately 1,100 other law enforcement officers.

Together with Officer Brian Hippe of the Ridgefield Park Police Department the trio
were able to donate approximately $9,500 to the Police Unity Tour Fund.  The purpose
of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness to those who have made the ultimate
sacrifice in the line of duty, remember and support those they left behind and provide
funding for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial and Museum.

Although the weather prohibited The Police Unity Tour form completing the ride into
Washington D.C. on Monday, May 12th.  We did successfully complete the
remainder of our objectives.
Thanks to ALL OF YOU and YOUR SUPPORT!
