Message Notification Service
The Bogota Police Department announces Operation
E-Mail. A service for Borough residents
whereby the department will send information directly to your e-mail address.
The Department will maintain a database of Borough resident's e-mail addresses.
When a notice or other important information needs to get out, we'll send it.
Examples of the type of information would include, but are not limited to, water
restrictions; upcoming construction projects, special announcements, emergency
information, etc... This is not replacing any other method of notification, it
is merely complimenting our current efforts. The faster we can get correct
information into the hands of our residents, the better they can prepare, and
the number of calls to our police desk will decrease.
If you are a Borough resident or have a
business in town and you would like to participate in our program.

to be added to our "Operation email" list.
The information that you send will be maintained in confidence by the police
department for program purposes only. You will receive a return message when
your information has been added.
*** The Bogota Police Department does not
guarantee that all notices shall be sent out via "Operation E-mail". Variables
including Internet access, timeliness of information, availability of personnel,
and others may preclude a message from being sent out. In addition, the sending
of a message does not guarantee that it will be received. We shall make every
effort to issue proper messages, however, we cannot foresee problems with the
Internet itself and your ISP. *** |
