More Police Officers are
killed every year in traffic related incidents than any other cause of death.
2008 marks the 11th year in a row that traffic deaths outpaced
gunshot wounds. Recently the New Jersey legislature passed 39:4-92.2,

, requiring motorists to move to the left or slow down below the speed limit
when approaching a police officer on the side of the road. Please be aware of
our Police Officers when driving and remember to “Give Us A Brake”. Drive
safely!
