GENERAL ORDINANCES

3-22   REGULATIONS FOR POSTING OF NOTICES, PLACARDS AND ADVERTISEMENTS ON PRIVATE AND PUBLIC PROPERTY.

 3-22.3   Prohibitions.

No person shall paste, clip, paint, nail, clamp or otherwise fasten, inscribe or affix any notice, placard of advertisement against or upon any wall, gate, house, pole, tree or building, either public or private, or place such notice, placard or advertisement in or upon any place either public or private, without the consent of the owner or occupant of the same except when done by a public officer lawfully authorized to do so in the performance of his duty.  (Ord. #1066, SI) 

3-22.4   Violations and Penalties. 

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction therefor, be subject to a fine not exceeding five hundred ($500.00) dollars or imprisonment for a period of not exceeding ninety (90) days or both.  (Ord. #1066, SI)

14-4.2   Duties of Owners and Occupants in Regard to Garbage Collections.

g.  It shall be the further duty of the aforesaid owners, persons in charge, and occupants, to place all trash, garbage and refuse materials, in proper and suitable containers where appropriate, for collection on the public curb or sidewalk no earlier than 4:00 p.m. on the day prior to the day scheduled for collection of said garbage, refuse or trash.

    It shall be the further duty of the aforesaid owners, persons in charge and occupants to remove receptacles for said garbage, refuse or trash, from the sidewalk and curb no later than midnight on the day of collection.
