In addition to sanitation and recycling collections, road and sewer maintenance and tree services, the DPW  is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all Borough buildings and the upkeep of parks and athletic fields.

F/T PUBLIC WORKS LABORER – BOGOTA BOROUGH (Bergen County) seeks employee for DPW.  Applicant must be 18 yrs old & possess a valid NJ CDL license.  Must be able to perform duties such as landscaping, general cleaning/maintenance, minor repair work to vehicles & bldgs, & other related work as assigned, and be available to work during emergencies (ex. snow plowing).  HS diploma or equiv. req. 14-4.3                   Persons Required to Provide Private Garbage Bags Removal. It should be the duty of all occupants of residential, public and business buildings where garbage, ashes or refuse of any kind accumulates to the extent of one (1) or more cubic yards per week, to remove at their own expense all such garbage, ashes or refuse, and they shall maintain their own receptacle for the same of a suitable nature.
