TAKE NOTICE that the Borough of Bogota is proposing to change the purpose or use of approximately 2 acres of Olsen Park (Block 1.01, Lot 1 and Block 64.01, Lot 1) from outdoor and open parkland to a Bogota Recreation Center, Recreation Center Parking Lot, Outdoor Basketball Courts and Tennis Courts. The Recreation Center will include an indoor conservation classroom, park administrative offices, concession area and seating, locker rooms and restrooms, equipment storage areas and a gymnasium.
Due to the current Executive Order in place related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the hearing required under and pursuant to N.J.A.C. 7:36-25.6(a)1, to obtain public comment on this proposed change of purpose or use will be held via ZOOM on October 5, 2021 at 7:30 pm. Public Comment on this proposed change in purpose or use will be accepted during the public hearing or until October 20, 2021. On or after January 5, 2022, the Borough of Bogota may take formal action to approve the proposed change in purpose or use.
